SHOULD I OR SHOULD I NOT?

I am debating whether to submit this report I have been preparing for at least two weeks now. I don't know whether to submit it or not.

It is a report that contains the inefficiency of one of my subordinates.
She the object of my headaches and hypertension attacks lately.
I have been patiently coaching her in order that she performs well but maybe there is a limit to what she can do.

She is a PWD but her job is mostly analytical and doesn't require mobility. So her not being normal physically should not be a problem. Sana.. pero ndi e. Pati mental capacity slow din...

She is also not a regular employee and could be terminated anytime.

So here ther goes my dilemma. Should I? Or should I not submit this report...

Submitting this report would mean:--
... this subordinate, might lose her job. And if she does, she might blame me for it. she is a married individual in her mid 40s and apparently, she is the sole breadwinner of her household. She may not have kids to feed but she has nieces and nephews whom she looks after and are relying on her for chief support.

Not Submitting this report would mean:
...i would have to endure her slow mental capabilities. and the reports of the agency is jeopardized. I would have to now and then answer for her incorrect, inaccurate reports, thus giving me all sorts of headaches and all sorts answering to do.

Now, which do I choose?
SOS please!!

hypertension

Not exactly a good day today. I woke up with a bad headache. My blood pressure is nowhere within its normal range. I battled getting up to prepare my self to work but couldn't much concentrate on things. Nonetheless, I managed accomplish some tasks. (arrggh!)

I hope this headache goes away right away!
I hate it when I get attacks of severe headache. I'm not really sure what's causing it. I only suspect that my blood pressure surged again.

I keep praying that this ailment would leave my body so I can go back to my normal self. I miss those days when I could stay up all night yet get up early and go to work on time and accomplish my job well. Those days are gone. Or am I getting old? At 31, I must admit I'm not getting any younger and things are not the way they used to be. But hey not that old! My husband is way older than I am but he's more agile and more fit, blood pressure stable and no ailment has conquered his body. Which I am much thankful for. Just a few back and shoulder pains here and there but not major ailments. Which I can readily fix with that tender loving massage. Praise God for his divine health!

Though I know I am not getting any younger but having to battle hypertension is beyond my imagination. I never imagined I would develop this kind of ailment. For one, I do not eat fatty foods. I also do away from those that are too oily and avoid salty junk foods. So what's causing this? I also do not have a family history of hypertension.

My father is as healthy as a cow and has never at any point experienced having a high blood pressure. I still wonder what I've don to acquire such illness. I've had tests to trace whether there are underlying diseases such as diabetes, kidney malfunction or hyperthyroidism. All of which showed negative results. In a way, I am thankful about it though. At least, I only have to deal with one.

But I'm getting tired of having to suffer severe shoulder, and neck pains and severe headaches.

I continue to pray for my complete healing.

FRIEND OR FOE?

I saw an old friend today as I went to SM to purchase milk for my Bryan. I did not know whether to approach her or not because for sure, I wouldn't know what to tell her. Our last conversation more than two years ago was not something you can call pleasant. And she owed me some bucks of which I was also reminded.
I don't know whether a friend would be the right term to describe my present relationship with her. As I look back, I recall her as a "barkada" who was fond of going out on gimmiks here and there whether she had money or not.
Our last conversation was actually something about me asking her to pay me back the money she owed. And as I recall, she was infuriated by my demands. Which actually surprised me. If my memory served me right, she's the one indebted to me.
And today when I saw her, clad in not so ordinary clothes, I figured, if she could dress that way, maybe she's able to pay her long overdue debt. But I didn't have the courage to confront her! (ano ba yan? ako na nga ang inutangan, ako pa ang nahiyang lumapit!)
I know that my God is just. And I leave it all up to Him.
After all, He will be the judge on the last day.

LIFE'S PURPOSE

Some things to think about...enjoy!!!! and take heart...

Short Interview with Rick Warren, (PURPOSE DRIVEN LIFE)

You will enjoy the new insights that Rick Warren has, with
his wife now having cancer and him having 'wealth'
from the book sales. This is an absolutely incredible short
interview with Rick Warren,
'Purpose Driven Life' author and pastor
ofSaddleback Church in California .
In the interview by Paul Bradshaw with Rick Warren, Rick said:
People ask me, What is the purpose of life? And I respond:
In a nutshell, life is preparation for eternity.
We were made to last forever, and God wants us to be with Him in Heaven.
One day my heart is going to stop, and that will be the end
of my body-- but not the end of me.
I may live 60 to 100 years on earth, but I am going to
spend trillions of years in eternity. This is the warm-up
act - the dress rehearsal. God wants us to practice on earth
what we will do forever in eternity.
We were made by God and for God, and until you figure that
out, life isn't going to make sense.
Life is a series of problems: Either you are in one now,
you're just coming out of one, or you're getting
ready to go into another one.
The reason for this is that God is more interested in your
character than your comfort.
God is more interested in making your life holy than He is
in making your life happy.
We can be reasonably happy here on earth, but that's
not the goal of life. The goal is to grow in character, in
Christ likeness.
This past year has been the greatest year of my life but
also the toughest, with my wife, Kay, getting cancer.
I used to think that life was hills and valleys - you go
through a dark time, then you go to the mountaintop, back
and forth. I don't believe that anymore.
Rather than life being hills and valleys, I believe that
it's kind of like two rails on a railroad track, and at
all times you have something good and something bad in your> life.
No matter how good things are in your life, there is always
something bad that needs to be worked on.
And no matter how bad things are in your life, there is
always something good you can thank God for.
You can focus on your purposes, or you can focus on your
problems.
If you focus on your problems, you're going into
self-centeredness,'which is my problem, my issues, my
pain.' But one of the easiest ways to get rid of pain is
to get your focus off yourself and onto God and others.
We discovered quickly that in spite of the prayers of
hundreds of thousands of people, God was not going to heal
Kay or make it easy for her.
It has been very difficult for her, and yet God has
strengthened her character, given her a ministry of helping
other people, given her a testimony, drawn her closer to Him
and to people.
You have to learn to deal with both the good and the bad of
life.
Actually, sometimes learning to deal with the good is
harder. For instance, this past year, all of a sudden, when
the book sold 15 million copies, it made me instantly very
wealthy.
It also brought a lot of notoriety that I had never had to
deal with before. I don't think God gives you money or
notoriety for your own ego or for you to live a life of
ease.
So I began to ask God what He wanted me to do with this
money, notoriety and influence. He gave me two different
passages that helped me decide what to do, II Corinthians 9
and Psalm 72
First, in spite of all the money coming in, we would not
change our lifestyle one bit. We made no major purchases.
Second, about midway through last year, I stopped taking a
salary from the church.
Third, we set up foundations to fund an initiative we call
The Peace Plan to plant churches, equip leaders, assist the
poor, care for the sick, and educate the next generation.
Fourth, I added up all that the church had paid me in the
24 years since I started the church, and I gave it all back.
It was liberating to be able to serve God for free.
We need to ask ourselves: Am I going to live for
possessions? Popularity?
Am I going to be driven by pressures? Guilt? Bitterness?
Materialism? Or am I going to be driven by God's
purposes (for my life)?
When I get up in the morning, I sit on the side of my bed
and say, God, if I don't get anything else done today, I
want to know You more and love You better. God didn't
put me on earth just to fulfill a to-do list. He's more
interested in what I am than what I do.
That's why we're called human beings, not human> doings.
Happy moments, PRAISE GOD.
Difficult moments, SEEK GOD.
Quiet moments, WORSHIP GOD.
Painful moments, TRUST GOD.
Every moment, THANK GOD.
God Bless!
GOD 4ever reigns. God loves you
and will be with you always. Be blessed
with the touch of God's grace, mercy, peace,
joy, and loving kindness.
Thank you Dear God for all the blessings you have bestowed upon us.
I know that from you comes all that I have and without you, I have nothing.
I stand in awe at how you have blessed me and my family.
Thank you Dear God!
To you be the glory and honor for this blessing that has come.
I pray for the strength to do what is expected of me.
I pray that you allow me time to do my duties well.
I pray for the support of my husband so I will be able to accomplish everything that needs to be done.
I thank you Lord God.
To you be all the Glory.

GOD'S WONDEROUS WAYS

God is a generous God! He knows everything that my heart longs for. Only He has plans we have no way of knowing. And His reasons for everythin, only He can understand.

I can see His hand once again working in my life. I know that it is Him who gave me every blessing and every oppurtunity that I have had.

I see Him now answering my prayers.

I hope all goes well.

Thank you, Dear God!!

OF CHURCHES AND DESSERTS

My weekend was indeed a fruitful one. Infact, it had a lot to do with cathedrals! One I might say is food for the soul and another one I call food for the Gods! (Literally speaking). I had time to make these delectable, mouthwatering gelatin, cathedral windows style! And it was great! Everyone loved it. I am adding this to my becoming long list of creations.
I usually spend my weekends at home cooking or preparing something for my family. Sadly, I didnt think of documenting them. But now, I must say, its time I show off! It's actually a start for what am planing to do. Which I hope would materialize!
I am also planning to turn this hobby into an income generating project. And since the holiday season is just around the corner, I figured these cathedral windows thing is just about a perfect start!!! I am really getting excited. Next thing you might see in this blog might be pricing!! Don't hesitate to ask me because am really realy into it! I just need a capital to start with and I'm off to a busy holiday season preparing holiday treats!!! Wish me luck!!
Speaking of Cathedrals, I was also happy to spend Sunday with God, who has been so generous with His blessing to me and my family. We went to the St Joseph Parish Church, and it reminded me much of what I had been busy about the night before, cathedral windows!

Not much of a comparison though! But really, both have something in common. One to fill you spiritually, and the other, to fill you physically!
A fruitful Sunday, indeed!
Expect more from my creations in the next blogs!!!

unfair deal

I don't know how much longer I can stand this place!
There are people who get away with their anomalous acts.
I mean, they can do whatever they want with government property, get found out, and yet, they get away with it!

Sounds like I'm sour graping, I know but damn! I know, I am innocent with their charges. I know, I didn't break any rules. We had a very transparent activity, and this is what I get!

And yet, here comes these people, who sell government property with out undergoing the necessary procdures, and keep the money and got away with it!

I don't know, leave it be to their consciences! I don't care anymore. All I wanna do now is leave this rotten office! It really sucks!!

Bryan's Saturday afternoon at SM!!

Bryan had a funfilled afternoon last Saturday, Sept. 6, 2006.
After debating whether to tag him along for my business appointment,I finally decided to bring him and take him a walk after my meeting. It was a short and informal anyway so I decided, I take him along to break the montony of his life being only at home all week.

I decided to let him have a stroll at SM.

He was reluctant to walk at first so I had to carry him until he saw the great building of SM.

Thrilled as we approached the mall, he decided to walk towards it.

He was happy to see plenty of people walking by, to and fro. I took him to see the animals at Baguio Pet Habitat, where he was so elated to see labradors, the multi colored fishes in the aquariums and birds in cages.

After that, I took him for that paid ride at Quantum. He was so happy to drive the big puppy and the car.

He wouldn't want to leave so we spent most of the afternoon there. We had to convince him that we had to head home because it was getting dark. After lots of talking and convincing, he gave in. He was so tired after all the running and walking and playing, this is what he looked like when we got home...Exhausted but content!
Hehehe! Iloveyou Bryan! I promise to take you for another ride next time!
I'm mighty proud of you!!!

take and receive

Take and receive, O Lord, my liberty,

Take all my will, my life, my memory,

All things I own, And all I have, are Thine,

Thine is the gift to me, I all resign.

Do thou the rest, and govern all and sway,

Do what Thy will, command,

And I obey,

Only Thy grace,

Thy love on me bestow,

This make me rich,

All else wil I forego

TODDLER CRAZE

These videos were taken almost a year ago(don't mind the audio)just as my son Bryan turned one!

Funny how time flies! Next month, he'll be turning two! No longer a baby!!

He's a toddler. He'll be a pre schooler before we know it!!!

Though I miss his tinyness, I'm proud of what he's become now!

Very vocal and opinionated and he's not even two yet!!

Wait til he reaches pre-school age! I bet we're in for a debate about everything!!

Sep 2, 2008

Dear Lord, I thank you for this day.
I thank You for my being able to see and to hear this morning.
I'm blessed because You are a forgiving God and an understanding God.
You have done so much for me and You keep on blessing me.
Forgive me this day for everything I have done, said or thought that was not pleasing to you.
I ask now for Your forgiveness.
Please keep me safe from all danger and harm.
Help me to start this day with a new attitude and plenty of gratitude.
Let me make the best of each and every day to clear my mind so that I can hear from You.
Please broaden my mind that I can accept all things.
Let me not whine and whimper over things I have no control over.
Let me continue to see sin through God's eyes and acknowledge it as evil.
And when I sin, let me repent, and confess with my mouth my wrongdoing,
and receive the forgiveness of God.
And when this world closes in on me,
let me remember Jesus' example -- to slip away and find a quiet place to pray.
It's the best response when I'm pushed beyond my limits.
I know that when I can't pray, You listen to my heart.
Continue to use me to do Your will.
Continue to bless me that I may be a blessing to others.
Keep me strong that I may help the weak.
Keep me uplifted that I may have words of encouragement for others.
I pray for those who are lost and can't find their way.
I pray for those who are misjudged and misunderstood.
I pray for those who don't know You intimately.
I pray for those who don't believe.
But I thank you that I believe.
I believe that God changes people and God changes things.
I pray for all my sisters and brothers, for each and every family member in their households.
I pray for peace, love and joy in their homes that they are out of debt and all their needs are met.
I pray that every eye that reads this knows there is no problem, circumstance, or situation greater than God.
Every battle is in Your hands for You to fight.
I pray that these words be received into the hearts of every eye that sees them and every mouth that confesses them willingly..
This is my prayer.
In Jesus' Name, Amen.
